During this course, Killer Stories Writing Section, I would say my writing ability has developed. Writing an exploratory essay, narrative essay, and critical analysis essay are to credit for my improvement. I’ve struggled in every writing class I’ve ever taken. I was not born with the ability to write. My writing is really generic and formulaic. I had trouble making my sentences longer before this session, or even figuring out what kind of sentences I was writing. This would make my paper less clear and would make it more difficult for me to complete the assignment’s requisite amount of pages. I would learn how to use my words properly and how to develop my ideas in order to meet any writing objectives or requirements with the assistance of my teachers and my tutor.

My biggest challenge was starting a paper. No matter what class I take, this problem affects me on every single assignment, even though it seems like such a little difficulty. I would typically put off starting until a day or two before the deadline. I picked up a lot of fresh strategies that assisted me in overcoming this and improving the caliber of my articles as a result. I have discovered through writing all of my papers that it is challenging to get to the heart of what you want to talk about. Even though you may be aware of the issues you want to cover in your essay, it can be challenging to dig deeper and find more ideas and subjects. Additionally, once I got the paragraph started, it was hard to smoothly transition from topic to topic.

The exploratory essay was the first essay for this course. This was my first chance to demonstrate my writing prowess. I made an effort to create as many outlines as I could when I first started thinking about this essay. Some subjects were included in the article, while others were reserved for future consideration. Although moral was the primary focus of my thesis, I focused on serial killers and the impact of murder on society. Though I believe I originally hit the goal, it became apparent that I was no longer able to develop my thoughts as I went along. Similarly, I struggled on included good transitions from different topics.

However, something I did improve on during this course was my conclusions. I tended to have very simple and basic conclusions during high school, but during this course that changed. I learned how to include my thesis in the conclusion better, I learned how to summarize the body paragraphs in the conclusion better, and I learned how to end the conclusion with something to leave the reader/audience intrigued.
